I think he pretty much explained why they dumped fuel. Landing too heavy can have physical damaging stress on the aircraft. To compensate, they need to dump fuel for a better weight ratio. Maybe their flight got cut short...who knows

I like this photo. Depending on the altitude afterburning is loud and could disturb the residencal area.
