These are some Phantom IIs of 31st TFS and 31st TRS , 20 people were working for 4 hours to prepare these F-4Es and RF-4Es line ups to have this nice photo, the ramp hadn`t enough space to accept two line ups with all F-4s of the base . the front F-4E in the photo is 3-6681 one of best and most famous F-4Es of 31st TFS , which was formerly used in 91st TFS (in 1980`s) and was testbed to launch the modified RIM-66A surface to Air missile for air to ground purposes. An extraordinarily rare shot....Many thanks for sharing
I just don’t get why having talked about 31st TFS, location is withheld!!! It is obvious this is the Shahrokhi (Nozheh) TFB3 near Hamedan.
Moreover this particular ramp can take at least 30 Phantoms....see: “35 11 34.68 N, 48 41 45.02E”.
But thanks anyway and keep up the good work.
P.S. I think you meant “observation”

As wrote in remark nice shot (even without all of mother base F-4s in one shot)! Amazing that we wouldn't see this shot among photographers choice!

Colourfull lineup of missiles and sure a great line-up of planes. But errr, 4 hrs spent on setting it up, 4 hrs on breaking it down (I assume) for an A.net picture. A hell of a day @ work...love it :)

My favorite fighter from the Vietnam era. These F-4's are like a flying museum...kinda like an old folks home for jets ;-)
