Compartment A cabin view of JAL domestic 744. On board JL1707 from HND to FUK. There are 28 "Class J" seat (total 80 J seat for 744D). Pay additional 1000JPY for upgrade from any airfare you can get this comfortable seat! This is usual sight for HND-FUK; all are businessmen and normally it becomes a full flight! Note chief purser was doing safety check for landing while captain started initial descent from FL380.

Amazing that so many widebodies (ANA and JAL) operate so frequently between the major Japanese cities. The remark says 'pay additional 1000JPY for any airfare to get this comfortable seat'. That's just a bit more than $8 USD! Is that correct??

I don't know why, but pictures of this part of the 747 make me feel really claustrophobic.

Nice 744 interior shot. Very crisp, clean pic. $9.50 for a class upgrade? That's freakin' AWESOME!

Compare this pic with Photo ID: 972887 for another 744s nose section. I guess first and business classes are quite subjective.
