What a boring livery!! What is happening to the oneworld airline liveries? First Finnair and now JAL :(

Finally I can see Finnair's livery beautiful... This new livery just doesn't work like this! But the good thing is that retro-style is coming back.

Please tell me it's just a retro-jet????!!

New livery?...Some of their 787s are already wearing the current "old" livery! Why would they introduce a new livery now given their financial situation?!

Regards from SoCal.

What a boring livery! Please save the painting costs and keep it the way it is...

Well, worse than the old livery (this looks like a retro style) but anyhow, JAL shows that they are down to earth now...

Love it. Something old meets something new.

Nice photo, good to see the crane back but otherwise the livery is boring and uninspired.

Can't believe that, so boring. The typing is not even elegant and there is in my view a major break of style between the crane and the text. Looks like those days are not really inspired as for liveries: Finnair, United, JAL...become so white and boring

Well, what can you say. I don't like this livery at all! It's nice an all that they brought the crane back, but it seems more and more airlines are wrecking there liveries.

Hopefully this is only temporary. Otherwise it seems like a last ditch attempt to save JAL.

5 Star for the photo quality but only 1 for the livery. JL said they want to use this new livery as a "restart" of their business from bankrupt. All new JL planes will be in this livery but don't know whether the jets on current livery will change to this new one. It is not a only-one. They are more to come.

Are you kidding, this livery is horrible, the other one is so much better, what is JAL thinking

Well, I like it actually. It feels much more balanced and professional than the new United to me.

Dang...looks really bland. All the beautiful liveries are going away!! :-( (United, JAL, Virgin Atlantic...)

Nice photo! This livery is really a shame. The JAL management should know it.

Yet another 767 that should have been a 787 delivery so maybe they decided to skimp on the 'rental' paint job. I'm hoping that the reason because I could do so much better using that crane and font to make a WAY BETTER livery for the 'new JAL'.

The crane looks good but the rest of the livery needs some work.

I really miss the crane... but something is missing here

Nothing wrong with the photo. The one star I rated this is for that boring paintjob. The only good thing is that the crane is back! Otherwise this is not even a livery. Its just a white paint pretty much. I can understand it from a technical standpoint. Its a low-maintenance paintjob and white reflects heat. But oh so boring!

After seeing these two shots of this stunning new livery, I'm suddenly craving a Double Double from In-N-Out.

Great photo, awful livery! I loved JALs "old" livery. This one just looks boring, dull and the text looks kind of tacky. However, I am glad to see the Crane Circle back! What is it with dull liveries recently!? (Finnair)

The photo quality is good, but the livery it's horrible, a children can do better! The Crane returns is great, but this almost white livery looks no imagination!

The only good thing about this so called livery is they brought back their stylish timeless crane, much better and classier than their current tail design. I hope the crane will bring them good luck and they upgrade this livery into something more interesting.

To much white, but I love the return of the Crane.
