The wingflex give a nice touch
Who would not be enchanted by this great shot of the very plane I made my last trip on, concluding 33 years of a great career. 30 May 2004, BON-AMS, KL 742.
Slats and also flaps were always a stronger point in Douglas designs. Higher speeds were allowed for selection, and usually more flaps were available, meaning not the number of flapsettings, but the amount of flaps hanging down at full flap setting.
Same is true for max speeds for gear down selection.
