Fresh out of heavy maintenance with a new coat of paint, MSN 22754 embarks on a test flight. First delivered to Piedmont in November of 1982, this classic -200 finds a new home with the newly formed Kurdistan Airlines Three months after this photo was taken, this exact aircraft would become stranded at Rafic Hariri International Airport in Beirut, Lebanon during the 2006 Lebanon War. Surviving without damage, this aircraft would remain airworthy for at least another 5 years.
