This brings back memories of my youth in the early seventies. I live in northern sweden and spent every christmas with relatives in southernmost sweden and summers in the south-west. That meant two round trips per year by Linjeflyg Östersund-Malmö or Östersund-Karlstad. Always with a refueling stop at Bromma or Borlänge. I loved the Metropolitan, it had a lot more character than the jets that followed. This picture captures the christmas chill perfectly, and I recall how everyone rushed inside the terminal for hot coffee while the plane was served cold soup. Bone-shaking trips, but great fun for a young kid.
