What happens when you mix a hurricane with a plane that does not have its brakes set? This LAB 767 was a victim of Hurricane Katrina which snuck up on MIA on the night of 25 August, 2005. At the height of the storm, CP-2426 became the world's largest weathervane. It was spun around into an adjacent blast fence. Note the damage on the engine cowling and wing root area.

This shot is great because it shows with good details the damage of the aircraft. The difficulty is the location of the airplane. MIA is a secure area and it is necessary to get permission to get this close.
