Is there no emeregency escape for the pilots in the CRJ? The window obviously doesn't open.

Maybe the numbers are there to show right tightening order.

Yeah i think the window opens internally, i know out B737-700 window did when we flew from Leeds - Faro. Nice picture, lady pilots are rare yet a fantastic site :D

Very good shot. Checking the numbers it really seem like the tightening order. Took me a long time to check all details in the pic. ;)

Great details! The guys from Finland and Brazil are right, it definately shows the correct tightening order for the window screws.

The numbers are the tightening order. The CRJ flight deck windows do not open at all. There is a crew escape hatch on the roof of the aircraft directly behind the overhead panel which opens from the inside or outside.

Great shot!

The pilots escape through a hatch on the top of the cockpit.

Looks like something bigger from this angle.

The numbers are for the mechaniks cause every screw has to be screwed in special sequence and with a special design stress.
The pilots got a emergency door in the roof of the cockpit.
