I never thought I would see a Lufthansa A340-600 in Hawaii! This has definitely got to be one of the most interesting visitors to HNL recently, and I also believe this is the first time the A340-600 visited the Aloha State. After dropping off a load of lucky passengers who will embark on the MS-Deutschland cruiseship, D-AIHF taxies out to the Reef Runway for its 14 hour flight back to Munich as LH2573 on a beautiful afternoon. Have a great flight!

It was the longest non-stop Lufthansa flight of all times. 12.220km from MUC to HNL. 14 hours and 48 minutes.

The 340-600 in front of the palms. What a view. I wonder if they flew back empty. I would be grateful to see this as a regular non-stop flight..

Wow awesome picture of a very graceful airplane! But I have to admit as much as I love aviation: 14 hours in a tube? No thanks!!

I love the A346, especially D-AIHF with the name of my hometown. I also liked the wonderful remark of Je89 W.
