Very good exposure of the clouds illuminated by the setting sun, excellent angle on the 744 nearly silhouetted against the clouds. Gives a sense of majesty to the mighty B744.

Its like it is emerging out of a sea of fire, the flames are wisping away from the engines in the streamline. The 747 is amazing and this picture shows its true potential. Well done!

Showing great contrast in an almost inverted fashion. With difference in the colour the fuems distorts the texture creating a more subtle and soft feeling, which adds to the warmth of the picture. This creates a comfotable image that makes you beleive the plane is gliding through the air, rather than using formidable engine force to climb.

Oh course the color is great but the addition of the hot air from the engines really sets this picture off. The dark clouds at the top and bottom frame this picture perfectly.

The photo is showing clearly the blurry engine exhaust from the "hot" contour and how it gets mixed up with the "cold" engine exhaust and then dissipates.

So beautiful, dragging just a little bit of magic on the wingtips. The photograph captures the sentiment for the 747 program at the time -- flying directly into a beautiful sunset. Sure glad the skies where clear in its path, and the -8 was launched.
