I thought this was cheesy when I first saw it, but damn is it photogenic! The Faith 7 capsule, flown by Gordon Cooper on Mercury 9 - the last manned mission of the Mercury program. (1/5 handheld, ISO6400; 5D2 + 17-40 F4L)

Great shot! The capsule is currently in Houston Space Center.

It's a nice image of a set piece, catches the lighting well; this is important because the exhibit does get across the sense of a small portable oasis of life in a merciless emptiness - the desert of space - both with the colours and the backdrop. It's important to catch that and get a sense of the courage involved. Years ago I saw an Apollo capsule at the Air & Space museum, and it is sobering to know that people could function in such confined quarters.
