Apollo 10 Command Module on display at Science Museum London. Astronauts Tom Stafford, John Young and Gene Cernan were launched on May 18, 1969 for the dress rehearsal of the crewed lunar landing of Apollo 11 in July 1969. Except for the lunar landing, they performed all mission objectives successfully, including an eight-hour lunar orbit of the Lunar Module (LM) that successfully docked with the Command and Service Module (CSM). Apollo 10 transmitted the first live color TV transmissions to Earth.
