There she is... And what a beauty she became, after getting her new livery at the Qaps paintshop, which is based on the first two NLM F27's operated in the 1960's. This aircraft, originally delivered to Aer Lingus in 1958, is the first production F27 and now the oldest one still flying.

I also had the privige of hopping over to my hometown of Rabaul, flying on a Fokker ... registrations VH FNK, FNM, or FNN, on my occasional weekend off.
Over 30 years may have elapsed since then, but the memories are wonderfully vivid.
