Why didn't Boeing allow me to take photos during my visit to this factory almost a year ago? The scenery would have been the same.

I was going to say the same... Last year I visited the factory and they did not allow pictures. I wish I could have a register of that moment!!

What happened with the "red nose of the tampon" in this livery?

Thanks for your comments guys! I'm not really familiar with the photo policy at Boeing. However, we were in the factory on a VIP media tour provided to a customer (SWISS) that was just about to take over a new airplane, so maybe Boeing is a bit more generous in these cases. We were actively encouraged to record as many photos and videos as we liked. Only on that lookout balcony however, there was a strict no-photo policy in the rest of the factory.

Shackleton is a curious choice. If I found myself in a hopeless situation, he would my choice to lead us to safety. No question. But in the back of my mind I would have to wonder if it was he who got us into this mess.
