Clipper Dashaway is pictured taxying out from Terminal 3 for departure on another feeder flight. I know that this shot is against the sun and I wouldn't take it today... but I was young, there was no internet to learn from and in those days I didn't know anyone else who took aeroplane pictures for a hobby (all my pals thought I was nuts but I wouldn't swap it for any other hobby - then or now!).

This is a back lighting shot which is my favorite type of lighting, I learned this from the great aviation artist Keith Ferris who has more than 30 paintings in the U. S. Air Force art collection. Back lighting gives you a glowing edge effect which is very desirable to soften edges in aviation art.
