How are the pilots supposed to see the runway on final?

Is that a propeller or is it a giant egg beater?

I'm happy to be able to say that I've already been in this plane and to say that my father worked on this plane!

Great to see this aircraft again. It used to come to Stansted ( UK ) regularly for maintenance, the P & W reps who came with it were well known and very well liked.

I had heard about this aircraft, but until now had never seen a photo of it - yes, it sure does look like Pinocchio - with a propeller though...

Dark on the background but the engine is interesting.

The retired pilots used to drop by the Legion Branch 147 in St. Bruno once and a while to discuss all things aircraft. We used to joke about the old engines on the bird and they would retort that it cost $10 / yard to put all that black smoke behind her!

A giant, expensive playground you have there. I bet it's a blast doing that stuff.
