The 'Green Room'. Economy class onboard a QF A380 has three differently coloured zones; Red just aft of First class, then the Green with the Brown zone in the rear of the aircraft.

Ready for the military by the looks of it, yuk

I'm always amazed at how wide the A380's cabin is. The wide angle definitely enhances this trait.

Great photo! But not so attractive seats...Seems very uncomfy and old on a beauty like the 380

I still wonder who approved this color... looks more like a communist era thing.

Glenn, you could catch the huge diameter of the fuselage with this pic.
IMO the seats look very modern and stylish. I think that the light green color looks really 'fresh'.
Great shot! Thanks for sharing with us.

Dear god, this looks just ugly! Qantas could have done so much better! :(

Now guys lets be honest, who wants to sit in the middle of this for a ten hour trip?
good grief, not me!!

What terrible colours ... It's like the designers were watching a that 70s show marathon.

Don't get me wrong this is a great picture and all but the cabin doesn't look attractive at all and the seats look very narrow and uncomfortable.

It look really bulky and also the green and gray makes it look like a bus or a ferry, not an A380. if they get some wooden panels or something, it might work.

Marc Newson has done brilliantly by reflecting Australia's landscape in his "design language". However, I think even Australians will agree that it's an aesthetically vile cabin.

Wonderful pic but I find it hard to believe Qantas went ahead with this green color! UGH!

Wow! It must be a new Qantas experiment to keep the traveller occupied by indusing nausea at the start of the flight to distract said passenger from the fact they are sitting in a 500+ seat aluminum can. Very interesting thinking!!!!

Excellent shot and excellent, fresh looking seats. Qantas is really showing off their modern design. Only downturn: modern design tends to look outdated pretty quickly.

I like it, definitely not deserving of the panning it got in the civ av forum, it doesn't look that bad.

Im the outsider here I like the seats! But yes sitting in the middle for 14hrs would not be fun! Nice picture.

3-4-3, reminds me of a 747 cabin.... But this green color looks awful.... Is it Qantas or Alitalia...? Maybe in reality it's not that sad...

I like it. Some say that the colour green makes them want to puke. But to me, it is soothing to the eye. And it looks way more comfortable than other economy seats that other airlines offer.

The way I see it:
5 star seats in 5 star picture. It all depends on one's point of view. And I think those green seats look just fine. Someone just wants to say bad thing on Airbus I guess?

Just looking at the picture I would never guess that this is what was promoted as a futuristic aircraft design. And the green color? Once the seats get filled with the self-loading cargo and all their garbage gets strewn all around, it won't make any difference . . .

Very classic colours for such a modern aircraft. Not liking the cabin design at all. Hope other operators of A380 don't choose such bad colours

Love the photo

From experience i can tell you that the colour is 100% better in person, flash photography tends to kill the colour and make it look a little "pukey"

What were they thinking when they put that green? Military transport? it's awful. Really ugly. Neverthless, 5* for the photo.

Great photo, awful colour scheme! Just by looking at the colours you can tell it's for economy class...

I LIKE the green i personally think it's nice to see a different color
everyone has black or brown or blue or some ugly pattern
and it's boring but i don't think green suits qantas as their color scheme doesn't even have green. (red and white)

Love it, Love it, Love it. I do find that the Qantas seats seem to where done to the frame a bit and lacks in legroom in a major way. The green is excellent and is nice and bright. It adds to the white cabin and breaks up that tube feeling with separate color zones. Did I mention that I love it?

I love the Green, it's a very Australian Green, it reflects the color of the Australian Bush very well.
