It did. It gave a bit more leg power to make the long stretches possible (eg MEL-LAX) where a regular -400 would struggle.

Young and capable birds. Would be a true shame to se QF 744ER being dismantled. They should be sealed up and just wait for another operator. Wamos Air or Atlas should pick these birds up. One man can wish...
