Like the A350, it looks graceful until you get to the nose.

Why the registration doesn't show "RA" before 73054?

Because it's test airframe. I believe it won't ever get RA-reg because that's really silly to fly third prototype with pax.

All the "heavy" passengers will have to go in the front, or it will tip backwards on the ground......

I am sure the engineers who designed this beauty know more about that than a dumb Englishman behind a keyboard.

Umm, there are plenty of aircraft out there that require tail stands.
Indeed. And that requirement is usually figured out at a much earlier design stage. Tail stands are not a foreign concept to the Russian/Soviet engineers, IL-62 being a popular example. They would've included it on this aircraft if it was deemed necessary.

Actually it depends on the weight of the fuel and payload. An A321 hardly ever loads any cargo up front, only if not avoidable. And if CPT11/12/21/22/23 needs to be loaded, it will have an impact on the ideal CG. So that ist actually done very well on the MC-21. Another example would be the A319: if near max TOW it may be out of trim on the forward limits, and after burning off 18to it may as well be out of limit aft on landing.

So airlines such as wizz use up mostly all of the aft hold on their A321. And when docked, all the pax forward leave the acft, making it very unstable on the ground. 738 as well, even bigger piece of sh** an regularly sitting on their behind.

So in this case I assume that the balance is better.

Interesting design, looks tail heavy. But the engines are mounted very far to the front so it balances out.

Wait, it is flying with P&W engines? I wonder if they can get service/maintenance on them at this time, otherwise, it'll go out of service in the not-too-distant future.
Nice looking bird, and paint job.

Not anymore. They finished developing a Russian made engine. They even changed suppliers for other parts like the composite wings that are Russian made now.

Absolutely aviation related. Russia has every right to protect itself from a threat next door. Long Live Russia!

And btw: What threat does Ukraine pose to Russia?
The threat is from NATO, not POS Ukraine, you bonehead.
Your country has destroyed nations thousands of miles away because of an imagined threat. Russia has every right to annihilate Ukraine.

Ukraine isn't even a part of NATO, dumbass. And NATO has no hostile intentions towards Russia. Russia is the aggressor here, not NATO.
Yes, Ukraine is not part of NATO, and thanks to Russia's defensive action, it will NEVER be part of NATO. And that was the point, my imbecile southern neighbor.
I am not surprised by your belief that NATO isn't a threat to Russia. Most of you Americans know nothing about history.

Russia is the one threatening to use nukes against neighboring countries. Not NATO.

But West's lunacy towards this conflict predates Russian 'threat' to use tactical nuclear weapons to defend itself.

Fantastic aircraft design. Typical russian if I may say - completely different to all others. I wish, someday Irkut manufacturer becomes a major player on the market. That would get things spicy finally

As long as Russia has Putin living in an Soviet Dreamland, nice projects like this MC-21 will never be an success. Sad.
