Unique shot alright, but odd that you chose to withhold the location.... There's clearly a permanent runway there.... Why be so secretive? Share the info, share the fun....

Beautiful and a little scary photo at the same time.
From ground view this snow and lights create "cozy", almost Christmas atmosphere.
At the same time flying this airplane turns cozy to ugly atmosphere.

I've never seen this much snow where I live here in the US. This is a great example of how those Russians deal with snow!

Real IFR. In those conditions it must be on centreline. Looks only that right side of the approach light systems are in the picture.

That's An-12. If weather got even worst, It can land in the middle of the snow covered grass left of the Rwy.
