Unusual solution of position problem. Despite of taking a special machine 'Load Masters' decided to use their own power!!! Three men pushing an aircraft, that's incredible but they have moved it into a right place!!!

On first glance I thought they are nuts. On second glance I saw the airport and I knew.

Maybe it's the airport's new approach to Employee fitness and Cost saving, kinda like two birds with one stone :).

It would be better, if the pilot left the airplane and joined these people to help them to push the airplane!!!

Its always interesting to see the people that help to run the airlines in action. Its also funny to see but it happens every now and then on Line Maintenance. We even pushed a fully loaded 747-400 back 1 meter as long as the pilot haven't applied the brakes the 1st time. I've done it few times lately on a E170 no problems(some pilots don't follow the Stop sign at the gate sometimes.).

"Hey, someone tell the pilot to get his foot off the brakes!!!" Great shot of a ground crew using their brains and brawn.

Incredible!
But since this is a Mad Dog... couldn't it have just pushed itself back using its reverse thrusters?
Still, it's an amazing scene.

I always wondered if a human could pushback an aircraft. Nice.

The radome is not the best place to be pushing an airplane back since it is composite material and easily damaged.

That is very funny! I am suprised that they are able to do that.

With reverse thrust the aircraft would probably get damaged by small stones or something like that. That

Ah, memories from the ramp.
Getting a little tan, loading a few bags and pushing a MD-80 by hand with a few buddies. Makes me smile :-)

Why don,t we use a pushback tractor? It´s too ordinary, let´s use our force ! ;)
