Great photo that shows exactly what some pilots do in the cockpit during the flight when the passengers are asleep! If the administration of the airline from time to time goes through the photos here on a.net and if they see the captain is keeping his feet on the instrument panel I think he is going to be warned not to do that again! He could break something or switch a knob with his foot!... Oh, almost forgot, great view, buy the way!

There is actually a panel board distancing the instruments from the pilot's feet. It's designed exactly for pilots to put their feet on, in case of Deep Vein Thrombosis. Notice all the "important" knobs on the MCP panel are located miles away from the feet.
