Holding short runway 25L on taxiway 8. Manufactured on May 29, 1968. Delivery date was July 16, 1968 to United Airlines. Delivered to Southern Air Transport on November 26, 1990. Built as DC-8-61, cvt'd to DC-8-71 in July 1983, & again cvt'd to DC-8-71(F) freighter in Nov 1990. Other serials - N8087U with United Airlines with FN 2587, Emery Worldwide - lsd April 18, 1994, and also N871SJ with Emery Worldwide & GPA. Stored at ROW (Roswell) as N8087U, & broken-up by Aero-Turbine after 2004.
