Classic 747 vs birds. Birds look dangerously close to this giant. Could have finished in a bird strike. If you like planes, you better like birds, not the same for planes, i guess they don't really like birds... haha

Exetreme picture!!
maybe airliners like these should put a fencing in front of the engines so that the birds wouldn't go inside

Beautiful shot. Pilot might be asking himself where is the horn!

Brilliant shot, its difficult to determine, with the depth of field, if the birds were a serious threat to a multiple bird strike, looks close enough anyway!!!

This baby has just landed and looks like its at the end of the roll-out (flaps full & trust reversers blowin), so not much of a bird strike risk, they're especially dangerous on take off...All irrelevant coz it's a fantastic photo anyway!

Very nice picture of a wonderful plane! Hard to say if birds were close or not due to telephoto effect! But in this case even if there was strike not too much danger for crew because this plane has just landed (see the reversers, full flap and spoilers). TO us birds are a danger and a nuisance but lets not forget they were up there a LONG time before us and they will always be the aviation grand masters. We do not come close in our clunky tubes-with-wings.

Look at the lone bird sitting far away from all the "crazy ones". She must have lost someone in a bird strike and is hesitant to fly closer...

Thank god the plane was in landing.
