Tu-154 is rather old model. However there is still her limited manufacturing. New plane at final stage of the assembly. 'Aviakor' aviation plant.

It is so nice to see that they still build those beautifull aircrafts. Unfortunately, they are not an often visitor anymore in europe...

Despite what we are often "told" in the Western world, the "Russians" have been and always will be exceptional aircraft builders!! Thanks for this picture.

Wonderful! Is it really one being built? For me it looks more like a one in very deep overhaul. Any data about its serial number?

Great lighting. Great framing. The last of a long line of successful airliners.

It really makes me happy to see the Tupolev Tu-154M in production. My heart speeds up when I see a Tu-154 taking-off with it's unusual engine roar. I hope that Aviakor will build more Tu-154s. Five Star Photo.

it is great to see this plane still produced. so the recently produced once will probably fly for another 20 years. I have flown many times on board the TU 154, that is a realy nice plane. I hope the russian munufacturers will come back to the market and could really compete with the boing ad airbus. they really do solid planes.

Excellent photo composition encompassing light balance and amazing detail. Shocking that the Tu-154 is still in production, considering it's older than many design types of Western aircraft that have long since been retired.

A fantastic composition. I like the contrast of the sleek, solid lines of the Tu-154 against the delicate intricacy of the scaffolding. At first I thought it was a shot of an aircraft down for heavy maintenance but was surprised to find (like many others) that it is in fact a new-build Tu-154.

The picture is excellent but I'm very sad to see this airplane still in production. It should've long been replaced by Tu-204 which should now also be retiring and being replaced. Sad, sad, sad.

Is excellent see this aircraft still in production, but will be better see more recent models like TU 204 or TU334 take a much better place in the global market. More and better marketing my russian friends.

Great to see the Tu-154 is building again. Tu-154 mustn't die!!

And to this people who said that is sad that the Tu-154 is still build: Why not?

This is the final Tu-154, completed 6 years after the line had been "officially" shut down. This aircraft went to the Slovak government. Article here: http://www.airlinereporter.com/2013/02/last-tupolev-tu-154-delivered-today-six-years-after-production-ceases/
