Great timing to be there. Was there any fatalitys? What happened? Is that someone looking out the window under the K in turkish?

There were 9 fatalities, including the 3 pilots. The accident caused by a faulty radio altimeter which sent wrong information to the auto throttle and put the plane into landing mode while still at around 2000ft. The plane slowed down to much and stalled, just under 1000ft. (They were on a ILS approach)

This accident should not have happened. 3 pilots in the cockpit and neither of them noticed the speed was degrading. Fly the plane!!!

Funny, how the fuselage looks like it's made out of plastic foil.

Because the impact force was massive, even a strong structure was like paper-made.
