Built at Hawker Langley in 1944 as LF751, she saw most of her service duty in training and instructional use. She was RAF Bentley Priory's gate-guard from 1954-85. Over thirty years outside resulted in a very decayed steel and wooden airframe. The Medway Aircraft Preservation Society spent 22,000 hours restoring her to this beautiful condition, painted as BN230 of the famous 'Fighting Cocks' - 43 Sqn. On display here at the Manston Hurricane and Spitfire Memorial Building since 1988.
