A recovery worker stands next to the shattered number 2 engine of N106US after the plane was removed from the Hudson River. On Thursday, January 15, operating as US Flight 1549 from LGA to CLT, the aircraft experienced dual engine failure, believed caused by bird strikes shortly after departing LGA. The flight crew successfully ditched the A320 into the Hudson River and all 155 passengers and crew were successfully rescued.

I don't know if its just perspective or what, but that enginge looks WAY too big to be from an A320. It obviously is, but It looks like hes standing by a GE 90 or Trent 900

Oh no... the a320 has big engines for its size but that is not a ge90 or a trent900.
the ge 90 has a diameter from 3.50 Meters!

Indeed, a good rule of thumb for engine size (diameter):
A320/B737 engines: 1 avg. person's length (+-1.8m)
B757/B767/A330/340/B747: 1.5 avg. persons' lenth.
in between: A380/747-8/787
B777/A350: 2(!!) avg. persons' length.
Although the awesome GE90 is perhaps a foot larger in diameter than the Trent 800 and PW4000, all for the mighty T7, and the Trent 500's for the A345/6 are quite a bit bigger than the CFM's for the A343.
