Caption
The wing of american plane Lockheed... The plane was shot down at night on March 24 1999, during NATO bombing of Yugoslavia above village Budjanovci in Serbia (at that time still Yugoslavia). The plane was hit by the old-fashioned rocket system NEVA. The wing and some other parts of the plane F117-A Invisible (Stealth) are part of the permanent exposition at Air museum in Belgrade.

I wonder if theU.S. government attempted to try to remove anything off of it before allowing it to be displayed? I also see a bullet hole in the wing.

Not too sure if the U.S. government was even in a position to allow or not allow it to be displayed. Nevertheless, this artifact is the "gift that keeps on giving" to whoever is displaying it as the RAM coating on the wings is very toxic!

I think those holes are not from bullets but from a missile's warhead. And according to their shape missile has exploded above and behind the plane.
