On display at the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force. The C-97 Stratofreighter was the modified version of the B-29. It was further modified into the KC-97 tanker with a tail boom, and the L-model was fitted with two J47 turbojet engines on underwing pylons. This aircraft christened “Zeppelinheim” was flown by the 160th Air Refueling Group of the Ohio Air National Guard.
