This livery was chosen by the Carter administration. Shortly after, she received again the "Air Force One" colours under the Reagan administration. Does anybody know what can be seen behind the cargo door ?

There is a sliding panel behind the cargo door used to regulate the tempurature inside the jet on hot or cold days without having to close the cargo door. The door is also not all the way open, so perhaps it was being opened or closed at the time the picture was taken.
