One of if not the only remaining original "Roman Nose" Hercules left in the world. Sad to see it in such a state, rotting away in a private boneyard adjacent to the AMARG. Hopefully a museum can get their hands on this bird and restore it someday!

Great shot. What does this private boneyard do with its aircraft? I see two C-118s in the background. I bet Everts would want to get a hold of those for parts. Agreed that I hope this old C-130A can be saved!

That's a good question, sadly I don't have the answer to it. I do know they had several C-7 Caribou that they recently sold to be parted out to a company that is currently restoring some Caribou to fly various cargo routes. Have to wonder what else they could sell to help keep some other classic birds flying
