"Junk Yard Dog" on a ferry flight to the 1106th AVCRAD for a rebuild. Back in the early 80s, Sikorsky used NASA-designed Kapton wiring for their aircraft, which while great for spaceships, was not so hot for a bird looking foreward to 25 years of hard service, hence 847 is running in to a lot of electrical gremlins. Now the ole sweetheart is looking foreward to new wiring, new engines, and rebuilt everything and a transfer out of active duty to a stateside national guard unit... good luck to her. 20D, 1/125th, F16, ISO100, Canon 28-135 @ 135mm.
