US Naval Oceanographic Office RP-3D at Port Moresby Jackson's Airport, on a 'Project Magnet' visit in 1988. The aircraft was operated by VXN-8, and was named 'Paisano Tres', with the 'Road Runner' as Nose Art. This aircraft, used for mapping the Earth's magnetic field, went to AMARC at Davis-Monthan (DMA) in on 29Dec1993. She has since returned to USN service, re-designated as an NP-3D. She was assigned to VX-30 at Point Mugu, California in 2008. Low res photo.
