Captain’s altimeter reads 30,000 ft. ….those mountains are indeed so high….!! ;-) A/c built in 1966. She ended her active life as FedEx N167FE. Cockpit preserved at the Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum.

Uh... how is that possible? He must be a lot higher than he looks because the highest peak in Colorado is only 14,440 ft.

To the poster asking "How is this possible ..." - I think the picture is taken at the 'Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum' - so it is only an exhibit and not actually in-flight.
