This very rare old warbird was at Wiley Post Airport giving rides back in October of 2000 and after everyone left I started taking photos. I was sorry to here about the loss of this plane back in July of 2003. Pentax 6x7 55mm lens

I had the pleasure of touring this aircraft shortly before it was lost. It was on tour and visiting our local airport (Buchanan Field, CCN). Even though it was raining the crew was very helpful on the planes history and features. This plane had served as Franco's private plane in post World War II Spain. It crashed at Cheyenne, Wyo. soon after I saw it resulting in the loss of all crew and total destruction of the aircraft. A great loss of life and a very historic aircraft.
