I took 2 pictures with a plane in front of the sun. I knew from earlier observations that there might come one at that time (10:30 am). I used a 10" Telescope, f= 1300mm and a Canon EOS 300D, 100 ASA, 1/1600s. I have a long sereies of contrail development photos in front of the sun after the plane transit.

This is from another planet surely?! There's something extremely peaceful I find about this photograph. Perhaps it's the simple colours! No photograph on this website is quite as mysterious!

The Simplocity, the complexity, this photo is a true one of a kind photo. The sun almost looks like its from a sci-fi show in the 50's. Excellent Job, Martin, I don't think a 5-star rating is any where near enough!
