Aviation Photo #1576276 Boeing 747-4HQF/ER/SCD - Untitled

Ex LoadAir 9K-DAB. If I'm not wrong, this is the last 747-400 ever built resting on Boeing's ramp next to a China Southern 772F. The assembly of the very first 747-800F has almost been completed at Boeing factory. This is sad to know that it is the last 744 but I really can't wait to see the 800 serie in the air because she looks absolutly gorgeous guys! Dedicated to my friends Guillaume Noirot and Gregoire Richier who I shared this flight with. To the BAR Team, Cheers!

This comment may date me a little, but it really doesn't seem that long a go to me when the 747-400 was new technology. She has been a wonderful airplane and I'm glad we will see many of them around for a long time to come.

Size is based on camera distance; they are
about the same. Notice the GE-90 comparison.

It'll be a shame to see the 744 leave, but the 748 will hopefully be another leap forward for the best known plane in the world, all this from an Airbus devotee. Nevertheless, a great photo from an unusual angle.

My two favorite planes. To bad this is the last of the 400 series.

Pretty coll pic. But hey, the 747 is about 8 meters longer than the 777F, and has a marginally larger fuselage cross section, in the middle of it's length (hmm, forget my poor english -_-'...). But the biggest difference is style. Comparing these 2 birds is like comparing between Grace Kelly (747) and, hmm, maybe Angelina Jolie (777)... Got it?

In the Air Force we used to call that "Stand Land."
