Seen above are three of the eight 3,000hp engines of the Spruce Goose. Note the oil pan under the engine of the P-40. Originally USAAC 42-9749. Crashed in Alaska and recovered in 1975. After going through several owners and registrations, it is now airworthy and displayed at the Evergreen Air Museum.
