Another impressive airplane at Lajes!! This beauty was delivered to the USAF in 1944 as 43-48248 and was later converted to a Basler, meaning new turbo-prop P&W engines, improved avionics and an airframe strengthening! Coming in from St. John's in a great spring afternoon and it departed the next day to Morocco! [Canon 7D + Sigma 120-400]
