This is photography at it's very best! Congratulations on a winner. I don't know how difficult this was with a digital camera but I do know what would be involved with traditional film.

Congratulations to the artist! Who say's, bad weather kills the pictures? No way - I like the surrealistic mood of these pictures. But imagine, how would it be without this Gulfsteam in the foreground?

Low level camera angle allows to combine first and second plan into almost magical composition of light (reinforced by reflection effect). The shades of dark grey are fabulous. You can almost smell humid air carrying dispersed kerosene scent.
