Uploaded with the kind permission of David Lockspeiser, the Designer & pilot of the LDA-1. The concept was to produce an aircraft that could be used locally in third world countries. As with such designs it started off on the "back of a fag packet". David was a Test Pilot with the British Aircraft Corporation at the time.

It looks like it could definitely do the job required of it. it reminds me a liitle of the bush planes they use in Alaska.
