Two Trojans rumble skyward in a formation takeoff ... such a treat to photograph these gems.

This Yellow T-28A/B (a Hamilton Conv.) is very special, this photo shows the side door very clearly, it accessed its equipment bay for the sensitive storm monitoring and remote surveyance applications it did. Also plain in this view is the larger bubble canopy (which is also thicker), much can be said just about the 1,000 hrs time I knew of 02Zulu, but the flights I had in it are the most memorable of my life, needless to say; It's fully aerobatic! When it was flown into Offut AFB right after we had to install the 'little black box' we were directed in to the fighter wing (that airshow was the only one we did with her, flying with the P-51D named "Gunfighter").! "Good Morning America" Host Joan Lunden took a ride in this aircraft but though it was filmed by her crew it wasn't aired.
