The wing fell apart during a negative-G maneuver.
Search the video in YT by "accidente aereo el trebol".

Probably a parachute like this could have saved the Red Bull pilot Alejandro Maclean. Should be mandatory in the future. RIP

Talk about a dramatic photo! I wonder if the makers of the ballistic parachute have seen this photo? It would sure be a fabulous "sales tool" for their parachutes!

Great shot. Luckily he wasn't flying close to the ground (as they usually do). After that I wouldn't dear to stunt anymore.

Be safer if the parachute was attached to the midsection. Even with the parachute, head first like that can still possibly be very dangerous
