The photo is great, and the livery is fine, but I'm sure those titles are far to high up on the fuselage.
Great capture, however!

Ehhh, the only nice thing is that they are making one solid streamlined product over there. I must admit that red ring on the cowling is pretty eye catching. That's certainly different!

Wow!Radical change from Virgin Blue. I can't decide if I like it.

Not as snazzy as compared to Virgin Atlantic & Virgin America, too much white.. at least if the current livery is up in cruise we can identify if its DJ or VA, the all white is too generic. Looks like they are saving on paint.

Nice a/c, nice font on the fuselage, but the tail part, and the overall livery is nothing special, certainly doesn't give the impression of a full service business class airline

Oh great, here we go. The beginning of the "all white" era. -__-
Great photo, boring livery.

Nice picture, but the livery is to much white.

Could use some more colour, looks a bit bland to me.

This livery looks to bland, If you had a grey fuselage like on the V-Australia 777's it would look pretty good but the white is just to boring.

The livery is nice but it needs more red, the stripe around the engine is nice but it's lonely, perhaps a red ribbon under the "virgin austrlia" titles. Wouldn't it be great to get a pic of this bird and a Virgin Atlantic A346 in the new livery next to each other!

I thought it was Dragonair when I saw the thumbnail image.

I reckon it looks pretty good i think its sorta better than the old one cos that one looked too low cost this ones modern an classy. But some improvements could have been to make the bottom of the plane red with the virgin logo on the belly in silver another thing make the virgin australia title thicker and darker and put the aussie flag on the winglets. Criticism aside its a welcomed change from the plastic red and to the photographer nice one getting the pic!

Brilliant livery.

This photo is too good to waste on such a boring livery. Plse reconsider and adapt the V Aust livery which is much better.G-)

Remember that this all about re-branding the brand and they're doing that with the big red virgin on the tail, that's all it needs and I like it. Go virgin!

Sweeeet!!! Simply elegant. This is a very good example when less becomes way, way more!! Awesome c/s

I thought this was the case when airlines lease an aircraft only for a short season, and put a very basic version of their full livery (most of the times very simple and boring like this one)

I like the tail. The rest is just too boring...

This livery is OK, not more. The older livery was better.

Nice record shot of a very disappointingly styled plane. Less is indeed less here. Thumbs down to the CI designers and airline management.

Judge rules? Okay: it's way too boring. They wanted to make it look all "groovy" and young, but it doesn't. Sorry, Virgin.

Very stylish and different from what we all know. Now this is what I call a great new design. Very successful!

Maybe white is the "in" right now just like cheatlines were in the 70's. Not bad.

Extremely boring, Virgin Blue failed to live up to the hype and long anticipation.

I think it's pretty clever. The red appears to be metallic which balances nicely with the all white. The only thing I would do is have the Virgin Flyer lady and the Aussie flag in colour and use capitals on the brand name.

Boring but much expected, since the release of their new logo last month I knew it was gonna be a dull all-white livery, an airline doesn't have to paint their birds predominantly white to look like a full service carrier.

Regards from SoCal.

The red on white (like on QANTAS aircraft) works really well and i think the silver titling looks really modern and effective. The lack of capital letters may reflect modern societys lack of spelling ability :D

Simple & clean.
I agree with the poster below, "Less is more".

Great photo mate, but until i see it in the flesh this weekend (hopefully) and maybe just maybe change my mind, i will say that this is the most disappointing livery ever to grace aussie skies ... when virgatl launched their 'new' livery a few months ago, i pondered here then about virgblue changing their font to match - how right was I! at least it's not in virgatl dreary black and silver ... c'mon aussie, c'mon ... dj deserves better than this!
