Moments before touching down on runway 10 here at St barts. Im suprised they dont have to replace the nose gear every few landings here. Very skilled pilots indeed.

Awesome photo!!

Does anyone know if any commercial/private jets ever come in despite the shortness of the runway?

What a cool photo! Just dripping with eye-candy. Great plane and just check out that scenery. Imagine living in one of those houses across the bay! Can't get over the green of the vegetaion the white airport apron and the blue of the sea - great combo! And yes...those Twotter drivers are earning their pay :-)

I love this airport!Everytime I play FS I land there flying shortly from Prs. Juliana which is really near (about 20 nm).The scenery is not 100% same but the difficulty of the shortfield landing deserves a visit!!! G.P.

The Twin Otter has incredably good short field performance, and it's no secret or magic to use it without hitting the nose wheel first onto the asphalt. Anybody who has ever piloted a DHC 6 loves it and hates it at the same time for being so slow, specially when travelling long routes and departing or arriving on short, remote airports.
