Impressive approach. The aircraft on final is really diving towards the runway threshold after passing the hill.

A great deal of guts and skill must be required must be needed to perform an approach here!

Very special angle. Great! The white cross on the right hill is a bit irritating.

It's very odd to see a landing or takeoff on a downward slope. I understand it's landing against the wind, but gravity will definitely weigh in on runway distance. Better have good brake pads! And for the visitor from Germany, please keep your religious views out of Airlines.

Interesting lens angle. How did you get this shot? from a hill in the distance with a powerful zoom?

I think the visitor from GER is saying that it's irritating because it sticks out on the horizon. Not sure if he was getting (anti) religious. IMO, the cross is a handy visual marker.

"Tower to Cessna. Hang a sharp left at the cross and slam your brakes as soon as you touch the tarmac." or "Cessna to Tower. I just passed the cross on the left. Clear the goats from the runway. Expedite."

For the humor challenged, the Xmissions are fictional and meant to illustrate use of cross as a marker.

Could be a big benefit by extending the runway onto the grassy area, perhaps?

I definitely agree with the U.S. visitor telling the German visitor to keep his/her negative religious views out of this forum. No one here cares nor they need to know how you feel about the cross. Nice picture, keep it going.
