A busy day at Lukla Airport. Seen here is a takeoff of a Twin-Otter, with the next one ready to go. A Do-228 had to park on the runway because all parking spots were full. Due to bad weather on the previous days, there were a total of 42 flights on this day! Of interest: only pilots with over 7 years' experience are allowed to land here!

the requirement of 7 years to fly at Yeti seems to be a little overdoing it, but ist definitely is important that one who flys there must knoe how to land hot and high on short fields and of course must have extensive crummy weather experience.
