Exciting airport

Nice

A stunning photo. The sunlight partially blocked by the scattered clouds makes the fantastic scenery look even more fantastic. Imagine a power failure riht after lift-off.

Coool Photo. Funnily enough i was looking a Lukla Photos the other day an hoping more would be added thanks, A sude note thats my moms bday.

Simply stunning... I guess this answers my question of how remote an area can be and still function as an airport.

the requirement of 7 years to fly at Yeti seems to be a little overdoing it, but ist definitely is important that one who flys there must knoe how to land hot and high on short fields and of course must have extensive crummy weather experience.

Extraordinary shot of a unique airport. Makes one realise the skills required by the pilots to get in and out of here.

This is one of the most amazing airfields I've ever seen. A quality Lukla addon was released for MSFS2004 and I tried to land there. It's really very complicated, but with lots of experience they probably do it very well.

Truly amazing, it is the gateway to mount everest and should be one of the most difficult airports in the world for the pilots.

Were there, had the sight, got the t-shirt. Beautiful, but scary place to land... :-)
