Please view photo 300342 first. UPDATE: Steve Bass FO of this aircraft updated me by email explaining there abnormal approach to 24R and consequential go around. 1 They were assigned an early base leg by ATC and were still quite high. 2 A slight tailwind from the east and a heavy aircraft compounded the problem. 3 A coordinated (with ATC) S turn across the 25's & 24's glide path was performed in an attempt to loose altitude and land the jet. Thanks Steve for the Info!
